Primark Haul..... (Picture Heavy)

Hello Maltesers

It's been a few days since i did my last post only because i have been uber busy at work. Must admit i don't take to heat very well. Let's get on with it. Last week i went to Primark. Here's what i got....

Blue Collared shirt-£5 BARGAIN

I love the collars and especially the 3 gold button detail
Ruffled long sleeve top -£10

Primark stamp with the 3 buttons again
I like this detailing so i got it in the beige and blue too :)
Long shirt with roll up sleeves can't remember the price
I adore aztec type prints and this is defo a versatile shirt
Sleeveless floral shirt -£12
This design is amazeballs and the collar is so my style
Blazer-£15
3/4 length arms look great with arm candy
Same as the other top in blue. £10
Blue and gold make a good combo i thinks

Overall i was quite impressed with the goodies i picked up on this shop. A few things though i wish the staff would take an extra minute to make sure they fold OUR clothes properly so by the time they get home they are not slaughtered with creases, as you can see from the visuals above!!

When i go shopping now i try to be sensible! LOL no i mean it. I try and get things that will be quite versatile. All the tope that i got i can easily wear to work and on the weekend to with a pair of jeans or whatever it may be.

I do still think Primark is worth it compared to other highstreet stores but i can't pick up as many things as i used to becauses the prices have rocketed.

Do you shop at Primark? do you ever return with uber creased clothing?

Ciao for now

Blistex.... Sort it out

Hello Sweet cheeks

This is going to be really random and i'm not one to complain. I have mentioned before that i am obssessed with lip products especially balms etc. A feww weeks ago i picked up a tube of the Blistex relief cream.

I absolutely love the stuff the only thing that really get's to me is... well have a look below.

Blisteze Relief cream doesn't stop coming out of the tube

I hope you can see it in the picture but as soon as i press the tube even a tiny bit to get a bit of product the stuff just carries on pouring out like there is no tommorrow. So i literally have to squeeze a little bit and them put the cap back on straight away. But every time i open it the nip and cap are manky :(

I love the product just sort out the pressure or whatever it is that build up in this as it wastes so much product.

Rant over

Have you ever tried this? and have you encountered the same problem?

I mean try standing in these bad boys for more than 5 minutes!!

NOTW: H&M Beige

H&M usually come out with these miniature nailpolish sets that are totally random and super cute. I picked up a couple last year and have never worn like my most favourite ever shade!!

H&M Nail polish in Beige

How original. 'Beige'
I love this colour, i love the pigmentation. Only two coats for my satisfaction and it's been on a whole week. Enough said.

NYX haul and first thoughts.....

Hello my Lovlies

Yes yes the sun is out and it's time to see people inappropriately dressed as i encountered a double take situation this morning!

So i am not new to NYX cosmetics but it has been a while since i ordered new stuff from them. So a few days ago i indulged in more makeup that was quite uneccesary really. So i thought i would give you my first thoughts on these newbies in my collection.

LtoR. Xtreme lip cream-Bonfire, Freebie, Cream Blush-Tickled, Concealer in a jar
Tinted Lip Balm

NYX Service: It's the first time that i ordered off the Nyx website and must say there service was phenomenal. I ordered on a Saturday and got the products on Tuesday. Keep up the good work guys.

Colored Lipbalm in 'Shukran'

Swatch on my veiny wrist of Shukran

What they say: 'Add colour and moisturize to your lips in one application. When your lips crave hydration and you crave colour, NYX Cosmetics new Colour Lip Balm is the perfect option! Get the moisture, shine, and a sheer wash of colour your lips desire while still looking natural. Available in 12 shades.'
4g of product
Price: £4.00

What I say:  I got the colour in 'Shukran' as on the site it is swatched as a nice dusky rosy pink. However on my lips this does not show at all whatsoever. BUT i am not dissapointed this is the most moisturising lip balm that i own and i am on it in terms of lip products. It feels so smooth on the lips and for £4 i will defo be trying out more shades. 'Obrigado' a deep red is my next victim.

XLC - 'Bonfire'

One stripe of this badboy

What they say:  'Beautify your lips with this velvety rich lip cream that provides extreme pigmentation with a silky and glossy finish. This lip cream is a hybrid of lipstick, lip gloss, and lip stain with intense pigmentation all in one. Complete your head-turning look with the Xtreme Lip Cream in any of the 11 luscious colors'

7ml of product

Price: £6.50

What I say:  This product is uhh mazing!! I really did not expect the pigmentation to be so intense. I would say this is definately a liquid lipstick but the intensity is out of this world. I got the shade in Bonfire, on the site it looked like a muted pink but on me it looks more of a magenta pink. But i am ok with that. I can't comment on the staying power of this but will give my second impressions once i've used it a bit. Overall i want more!!
Cream Blush in Tickled

Swatch of Tickled

What they Say: More delicious than peaches and cream? We like to think so. Our velvety smooth mineral Rouge Cream Blush offers a sheer wash of radiant colour. The glorious payoff is dewy, sultry and long-lasting. Available in cream blush 12 shades.

NYX Tip: Use our Cream Blush Brush to blend a beautifully, natural colour to your cheek.

5.3g of product

Price: £5.50

What I say: So it's not easy purchasing make up that is not in front of you. After seeing quite a few reviews i thought i would give this a go. I am seriously into cream blushers especially when the sun is out. So when i tried this i used my real techniques stippling brush. I would definately say that the colour is not as pigmented as it looks. This is more of a subtle pinky peach with gold speckles. So after the first time i applied this my face looked wet. Literally i looked like i had sweaty cheeks!!! errr. Second time i applied it just to my cheek bones and dabbed a bit of translucent powder on top. OMG this combination is amazing. This blusher is brilliant if you want highlighted cheeks etc. I am obssessed with highlighter and this gives the perfect glow. Overall i love this product and will definatley see a place for this in my everyday makeup bag. I think i want to try some more and see if they are as wet.

NYX concealer in a jar blurry photo

On my hand which is a different colour to my face obviously

and it's gone. not literally i blended it
What they say: 'A moisture-rich, emollient formula designed to conceal discoloration, dark circles and blemishes. Applied with a brush, the concentrated concealer goes on like a dream, is non-comedogenic and creates medium to heavy coverage. The Concealer Jar will last a long time. Available in 13 shades. Use the lavender for sallow skin, the green to neutralize redness, the yellow for under-eye darkness and the orange for under-eye darkness for those with olive skin tones.'
6g of product
Price: £5.00

What I say: I heard so much about this product and being the self confessed make up addict that i am i had to give this a go. I got the colour in Glow. It's so hard choosing a colour over the net but i gave it a go. So i have been using this for the past couple of days mainly for my under eye darkness. I would say i judged the colour quite well as it does blend in seamlessly. In terms of the formula it is quite similar to MAC studio tech but a thinner version. It claims upto heavy coverage but to be honest on a daily basis this would be in appropriate for this concealer. So far it does sit in quite nicely in my creases and makes them show but apart from that it isn't that bad. I can't really say much more than that until i use it more.

Free gift with my order

To top it all off the lovly people at NYX sent me a free pot of their on the go Glitter. To be honest i'm not into eyeshadows or glitter at all right now but maybe one day soon one of you lovlies will recieve this as a gift from me, it would be a shame to not put it to good use. I mean check that sparklage out!.

This is how i feel today

Hello Me Lovlies

I only ever buy magazines for freebies
I picked up two colours in Peach Sorbet and Power Pink. I skipped on the 3rd colour which is a Baby blue. I wasn't in the blue mood today.

Am i really a 'Domestic Godess'

TopShop Haul (Makeup)

So let's talk a little bit about TOPSHOP. I've always had a love hate relationship with Topshop clothing however when they launched their makeup in 2010 i think it was, that was a new beginning of an ongoing loving relationship. My first Topshop makeup purchase was over a year ago and it was a lipstick called 'Showoff' i think it is discontinued now as i can't find it anywhere (If you want to see what i'm on about let me know below and i will be more than happy to show you). Even though i love this little beaut to bits i didn't get anything else. So after about a year i obviously stumbled across a huuugee selection of Topshop makeup in a hugggeee Topshop.

I have a few new additions to my Topshop Makeup collection;

I mean how cute can packaging get?

Left to Right

1. Domestic goddess nailpolish
2. Sunbeam Highlighter
3. Sisters of the new moon lipstick in Charmed

I have definately been charmed by this little number
You will soon find that i am obsessed over Orange and Corals

I know it looks scary but we will talk about that later

So i literally wanted to give you a heads up on what i got. Reviews/swatches and all that jazz will be coming up real quick as i have judged these beauts already in a few uses :)

Ciao for now

TGIF and a bit of haulage times....

Hello my Lovlies

I hope you have had a smashing week. Been a busy bee so  i am so glad it's the weekend, i have absolutely nothing planned which hopefully means i can spend some time on updating many blogs posts i have lined up.

But in between work, eating and sleeping i did manage to make a few purchases this week.

Here i'll share them with you :)

So in my last post i mentioned that my skin is suffering a little bit at the moment. I decided to go and wander about in the infamous Boots and this is what i picked up.

You can never have enough lip products right??

So another obession of mine is lip products but i am totally obsessed with moisturising them as a result of it. Good old Carmex is with me everywhere i go but i picked up two newbies for me

1. Anatomicals Snog me senseless: I mean how crazy is this bad boy i will do a review on this lip moisturiser when i feel i can have an opnion about it, but i tried it and boy does it make your lips tingle.

2. Blistex Relief Cream: Enough said it's Blistex.

So as for once i had an agenda before i walked into Boots i was really on the hunt for a good moisturiser because of my dry skin. I picked up a couple of Neutrogena Norwegian Formula products. I have used both and believe me very soon i will be reviewing as i am like in love with these little numbers.

What lip treatments do you use? are you a Carmex or Vaseline lover?

There's Blemishes then there are Balms.....

Hello Angel Cakes!!

Doesn't time just fly the older you get?? i dont remember it flying when i was an ickle wickle junior... Anyhoooo i hope you are doing well and grabbing the sun when the clouds move!! oh my days i am not feeling this weather like even one bit, it kind of confuses me. What to wear what not to wear, what shoes to wear or not to wear, what makeup to wear.... i think you get me by now?!

So recently like very recently i went under the knife :(( and no it was not cosmetic surgery i would and cannot deal with physical pain as i realised. So i had surgery on the face YES!!! i know i was invisible to all forms of human life for a few weeks but i am on the mend now with the pain still lingering in the background. Violins play in the background for myself.. lol

On a more serious note my skin has totally suffered because of this. It has completely dried out like a prune... well not literally but it has become incredibly dry probably because of dehydration and the fact that even touching my face was not allowed for a few weeks. So i have had to totally change my skin care routine and makeup.

Today i am going to start off with a product that i have had for a while and now pulled out again as it suits my skin perfectly as it is going through this dry stage.

No 17 Blemish balm in medium

So i have tried a few high street blemish balms and at the moment i am kind of loving this. Now as with all products it claims to do a lot of things that mind you it doesnt. It claims to conceal and give coverage to all blemishes. Now it does not do that. I would say that if you have pigmentation or any other issues on your skin then this little number will help to brighten up and give you a more even looking skin tone. It does not conceal for s**t.
But all in all i do love using this. Slightly greasy but then with my dry skin at the moment it works brillza.
I am happy with this but remember different products work differently for different people. Try saying that fast 3 times :)

What is the best BB cream you have tried??

I want some of this right about now....

We all need a bit of Country Rose loving....

Hello Blackcurrents!!

So i know i know i am about 19 years too late on the whole Avon hype but OMG where have i been all this time!! Now i have never had an Avon lady drop one of those miniature magazines to my house like forever but i do remember in the distant memory cells at the back of my head rubbing the pages like mad for the scents. Come on i know you did it too...
So i am loving some of the things in this shizzle wizzle. So over the next however long it takes me to upload kind of thing im going to talk about what is working for me from Avon and loads of other brands too.

Now i lurrrve flowers, pretty floral prints are right up my street so when i saw this Country Rose holder thingy it was sold. I use this as my go to make up holder on a daily basis. I kid you not i don't even know half the make up that i own as there is just so much of it, so on a weekly basis i change a few products around and put them in this baby.

Country Rose Makeup holder. Avon
It has loads of pockets so you can divide your makeup into sections.
Well thats the ocd side to me showing :)
and it's perfect for your everday makeup and big enough too..
So i did order this quite a while back so i can't remember the exact price, maybe around the £6-£7 mark? But the flowers are just too gorg...

What do you use to store your everyday go to makeup?

I want all of these shoes in every single colour possible ever.....
